I swim with it almost daily and there is a visible change in my muscles. I also find it very fun and enjoyable to use.

A few years ago I used a wave that I found at the pool on a Marine base where I was stationed. Even though it was a youth fin, I wore it for about four hours while training! .... SORE! Years later I bought the rapid... Great fin, fit is comfortable and very adjustable. Even my 9yr old loves it. The very first day I used the fin, 6July 2013 I broke it! Snapped clear across the foot bed starting at what looks like one of the mold marks or tabs. THIS IS NOT NORMAL FOR FINIS PRODUCTS! But it broke for me while on the power stroke in a long under water swim.... Big surprise and a bummer for sure. For an intro fin and recreation this is still an awesome fin. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get into a mono fin!

I swim at the La Jolla Y. All the adventurous swimmers try out my monofin. We love my monofin. Now I need a mesh bag to carry my monofin to the deck and back out to the car. I'm still using the plastic bag that it came in.

I was bought this for my girl friend, she like it a lot... We had using it around 4 days a week in swimming pool... However, the rubber part was broken just after 2 month... Warranty is 60 days... What is a good quality control...?

I bought this a few weeks ago, intending to be able to use it to learn a good dolphin kick and get used to swimming like a mermaid, but unfortunately, the foot cuffs on the monofin snapped. That may have been my fault, using it for several hours every day for three weeks straight, I must've wore it down or something. I fully intend on buying another one though!

i first tried to swim in it and whenever i would kick the strap would come right off, i had to stop and turn around everytime i kicked, i dont; find it to be very useful, if you can tell me if i am using it wrong or tell me how to use it please email me at averyking3@hotmail.com thanks

I don't know if my monofin was just a fluke, but a week after I got it, the foot pockets started to tear. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't bother me a whole lot when I use it only a little, but after 2030 minutes of swimming it starts to cut and blister. While this is one minor set back, I would not hesitate to get another one. The rapid is a great beginner monofin, perfect for a quick dip or a long swim. I feel very comfortable wearing it in any kind of environment, although one should always take precautions when swimming with it on. Overall, the quality of the rapid isn't bad. Not perfect, but definitely not bad. If you're thinking about it with hesitation, don't. It's a great purchase, and like I said, I would gladly buy another one.

It's really cool thing to do... everyone at the pool was watching like omg what is he gonna do :D ... So i put them on, got in the water and i think it took like 25 meter and then you're of to go FAST !!! And then everyone was looking like OMG i wanne do that to! It's a really good work out to ... My feet, the back of my underlegs i don't know it in english :P my ass :P my abs and back! great stuf and for that price ... it's quality material ! I thank you Finis

It does not only look like the tail fin of a Manatee but also swims like one. Pretty soft feeling with a soft and uncertain propulsion it does not show the typical advantages of a monofin. It may be good for beginners but once you tested another type of monofin you most likely will not return to this one.

I love the rapid, it's so cool, and really fun to use in the water. It's also really big and stiff so you can go very fast or use it in the ocean. It's a little big on me but works perfect with aqua socks. You can do some pretty cool tricks with it and it will work perfectly for my mermaid tail. I think that monofins are very underrated, but I would think that anyone who has swam in one would agree that it is one of the best things they have experienced. Get one, if you are debating it, the rapid is stiff enough for a beginner but will serve you well in races and more experienced swimming a swell. Best purchase ever. And I can't wait to get my tail made :
