I only use swim caps to keep my hair out of my face and only purchase polyester or spandex, never the rubbery kind that pull at your hair. This cap does what I want - yes your hair gets wet, but yes it stays out of your face (main point). The usual brands that carry the soft caps usually are teeny tiny and wouldn't fit a fairy head let alone an adult human. I'm and adult female with an average size head, and this cap fits great, very comfortable and long lasting (as in elastic maintained over multiple swims). I highly highly recommend this one!
