The ergonomically-advanced design of the Agility paddles teaches an early vertical forearm position to increase stroke efficiency. The convex shape requires a proper palm-positive hand position. Due to the paddles' strapless design, incorrect technique will cause the paddle to fall off. Additionally, the absence of straps makes for a simplified fit, eliminating the hassle of broken or uncomfortable straps. The Agility paddles are a versatile tool for all four swim strokes and accommodate most hand sizes.

I have used the Agility Paddles personally as well as coaching Age Group Swimmers and Adults. It is amazing the positive effect I have seen with the swimmers that I work with. Teaches the swimmer the feel of a positive hand action in all strokes. For coaches, I would suggest you get a pair and try them on 2 or 3 swimmers that have basic free stoke flaws. I have observed positive changes in strokes after 1 or 2 laps of the pool. Walk alongside and observe. I think you will be impressed. While voluntary, the majority of my age group and adult swimmers now use them instead of any of the other hand paddles on the market.

As the Head Coach at Club La Santa, International sports resort, Lanzarote. I use these paddles with all my clients and i have seen fantastic improvements not only by changing their strokes but also the feeling that they come to have. The feeling is that important to every swimmer to make changes. Thanks Finis for such a fantastic product. I would advice all coaches and swimmers to bin the other paddles and go for these.

Thumb socket hurts after a few laps!

Within a few laps, I could feel improvements in all my strokes. In particular, I was able to diagnose a subtle problem with my left arm freestyle almost immediately. A problem that has stymied several coaches and that I had not been able to figure out before. Just a few laps with them every few workouts keep my stroke techniques in tune and, of course, have the strength-building benefits of all paddles. Susanne - recreational swimmer, training for long-course aqua-bike (1.2 mi swim, 56 mi bike).

Agility paddles seemed like just another pool side accessory, only with a different material, and a different shape. I never used pull buoys, or hand paddles once I was able to swim for a nonstop hour. A elderly lifeguard, of 30 years experience also assured me that "There are many toys you can buy, but that does not mean that you can swim." That was six years ago, when I soon discovered the swimming adventure was just beginning. SwiMP3 music player made this new challenge a normal part of my life, just as 5-10 mile hikes with music headphones, or bicycle riding for long distances are routine activities. A FINIS representative explained these agility paddles to me, after I mentioned how the extreme intensity of the workout from two different models of swim fins. I like to alternate days, with these fins, and having these agility paddles in my mesh FINIS pool gear bag would save time from borrowing a pool's flat hand paddles. I would soon discover that these agility paddles are part silent coach, and part steam shovel. The swimmers snorkel, with agility paddles, and zoomer short fins is a good workout for ten laps. Next, I remove the fins and do another ten laps. Then, I remove the paddles, replace the fins, and do another ten laps. Another two laps makes one mile. It takes awhile before you get the perfect fit from these agility fins, but you must concentrate on each entry, all the way to the knee before your stroke hand leaves the water. This agility paddle is not a toy, and should not be used as a shortcut to gain speed in the pool. I find that a pleasant, a relaxed, and a slower but proper swim session with these agility paddles creates more of a workout sensation afterwards, than merely sprinting back and forth. Great for beginners, but also something that advanced swimmers will appreciate. If you want to get the most, and a lot extra from swim sessions then these are the ones you need. I can assure you that once you try the, not only will you agree, but you will also ask yourself how you have done without them for so long.

I find they impede proper hand entry, forcing the hand to enter the water by slapping the surface. Don't like them.

My swimmers prefer these paddles over any of the others we have tried, my biggest complaint is that when I do pull sets of large yards, these paddles tear up my swimmers thumbs with the edge around the thumb hole. They are a little flimsy as I had a 12 yr old girl step on one and it broke. They don't quite work the upper body muscles as much as other paddles but they really help proper hand positioning. Those are about the only negative things of these paddles. Everything is great!

The Finis Agility Paddle has really made a difference in my athlete's ability to have a feel for the water. They do a much better job with the 'catch' part of their strokes since the paddle almost forces them to feel it. This has really transferred over to more efficient swimming.

Excellent tool for teaching "positive palm position" , "clean entry", and less stress on shoulders compared to other paddles

Agility Paddles have given improvement to even my most novice of swimmers. For inexperienced swimmers, they still need a lot of supervision but for triathletes, stroke improvement is almost immediate.

They are an easy fit for kids and you don't have to mess with straps breaking all the time.

I love that it is instant feedback for the athlete. They do not have to wait until the end of the 25 for my comments. They get to fix the stroke the first time they move their hand wrong!

I love my agility paddles. Very helpful for finding flaws in stroke technique, and not too big. I also love the fact that there are not bands constricting my hands.

As coaches we find the paddles in valuable to our clients. It helps teach them proper entry into water along with feeling the pressure of water during extension. If their hand is not properly entering the water it creates a great awareness to the swimmer.

These paddles are amazing! They are great to work on your catch. They are also so easy to use and practical as they do not have a strap, swimmers can put them on and take them off in less than 2 seconds, allowing them to do sets where they have them on and take them off with little to no rest.

Best paddle for learning proper positioning. Very simple. No bands to rot. Cannot fool the paddle - if hand is wrong the paddle is gone.

I love these paddles - they go on & come off easily, with no straps to adjust or replace.

I have tried many different paddles of varying size, shape, color etc. These are by far the best paddles I have used, they actually correct form and improve EVF.

The Agility Paddles help correct a swimmer's stroke because you must keep positive palm pressure. I have recommended these paddles to all my swimmers. Anyone with pain in the shoulders from paddles does not experience shoulder pain with the Agility Paddles since your hands stay in a better position during the press/pull phase of the stroke. My own shoulder problems went away with this paddle.
